Are you using Kaspersky and having problems watching shows on the My5 website?

We know that some My5 customers with Kaspersky installed on their computers have problems watching their favourite shows on the My5 website.

In some cases these problems may be caused by the "Private Browsing" feature in Kaspersky - you can read more about this feature on the Kaspersky website here: https://support.kaspersky.com/help/

If you're affected by these issues we recommend you try the following steps:

Disable the "Private Browsing" feature in Kaspersky -

  1. Open the Kaspersky application's main window
  2. Click the Settings button
  3. Select Private Browsing
  4. In the upper part of the window, set the toggle to Off

Update the Kaspersky exclusion list -

Add the following domains to the exclusion list in Kaspersky settings:

  1. channel5.com
  2. geolocation.onetrust.com

To edit the exclusion list:

  1. Open the Kaspersky application
  2. Click the Settings button
  3. Go to Security settings then Threats and exclusions
  4. Click Manage exclusions to open the Exclusions window
  5. To add an exclusion, click Add - add "channel5.com" and "geolocation.onetrust.com"
  6. Select Active status for the rule and click Add
