We are aware of a problem currently affecting the My5 app on some LG TVs whereby content doesn’t start playing but instead presents a buffering icon.
We have been able to confirm that this issue relates to a recent system update for LG Televisions and have been advised that a new release is scheduled that should resolve this problem so if you don't have your device set to update your software automatically, please continue to check for available updates.
The problematic software version was 05.20.3 and updating to version 05.20.4 once available should fix the issue.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused by this and appreciate your patience whilst we work to get it resolved. The issue is specific to the app on LG TVs and you should be able to access the service via other platforms including the My5 website.
