As Channel 5 continues to attract larger audiences, its news output is an increasingly crucial part of the offering it creates for viewers.

When 5 News expands to an hour slot from 5pm – 6pm on Monday 8th November, there will be some changes to the transmission times for our Soaps - Neighbours and Home and Away.

Home and Away will no longer air weekdays at 6pm on Channel 5. The evening transmission slot of 6pm will have a new home on 5STAR, where you will also be able to catch the first look at 6:30pm. Home and Away will continue to air weekdays at 1:15pm on Channel 5, and catch up is still available on My5.

Neighbours will find a new home on Channel 5 in the evenings at 6pm. The weekday 1:45pm showing remains unchanged, so you will still be able to watch your favourite Neighbours twice a day and catch up on My5.
