How to sign-in to the My5 app on a TV/streaming device

When signing-in to the My5 app on your TV or streaming device you should just need to follow these steps:

  • Go to https://activate.channel5.com/ on a computer or mobile device (this is a different site to the main My5 website)
  • Either sign-in to a My5 account you have previously created or click on the Register tab to create a new account
  • That should bring up a page with six boxes on
  • Open the My5 app on your TV/streaming device, which should bring up a new code
  • Enter that code on the activation site as soon as possible
  • That should then sign you in

If you have any problems signing-in to the activation website

Firstly, please try resetting your password via the forgot password link and then try signing in again with the new password.

If, however, you don't receive a password reset email (please be sure to check in your junk folder), please try creating a new account by clicking on the Register tab and entering the required details on there.

If you are not signed-in to the My5 app on your TV after following the steps above:

Please try turning your television or streaming device off, unplugging it and leaving it for a few minutes before turning it back on. Then, before you open the My5 app again, please make sure you are signed-in to the activation website and ready to enter the code on there. If you then open the app and enter the new 6-digit code that appears, that should hopefully then sign you in.
