Audio descriptions are not provided on all shows. To check whether a show has audio descriptions, see the following topic: How do I find out which shows have subtitles and audio descriptions?
It can sometimes take up to 48 hours after broadcast for audio descriptions to become available in My5. This means that for some of our most recent shows the Audio Description button (AD) may not be present when the show is first published.
We are working with our content providers to improve this process so that audio descriptions are available sooner.
In the meantime, if this happens to you, please wait until 48 hours after the show was first broadcast and try again.
