If you're experiencing issues with the 5 app on a Fire TV device, try closing and reopening the app — this often resolves the problem.
To close the app:
- Go to Settings
- Navigate to Applications > Manage Installed Applications
- Select the 5 app – scroll through the list of apps to find it, then select it
- Choose Force Stop to close the app completely
- (Optional) If problems persist, you can also select Clear Cache and Clear Data from the same menu.
To reopen the app:
- Press the Home button on your remote to return to the main screen
- Then, select the 5 app to relaunch it
- You may be prompted to accept privacy terms and sign in again
